The Acquired (Trett Consulting/DLA Piper)

Four piece band The Acquired play any gig, just so long as it’s a rock competition. Labelled as “impossibly cool” in a recent outing, still wondering if it was a compliment!

Band Members:

Joao Toscano, lead vox and designer stubble wearing front man, hails from Portugal. Joao has hands like the tentacles of the proverbial Man-of-War (ladies, you’ve been warned!).

Ian Turkington on drums, Rock God and also Roger Taylor’s twin brother (or at least very similar), is the only band member to have been musically trained, and then took up drums.

Harry Brunt on bass, harmonica and backing vox, likes fiddling with things in his garage and is the musical equivalent of Top Gear’s James May. Harry’s many inventions include a bass amplifier which goes all the way to 11.5, and a rocket launcher (MI6 and NASA have been informed).

Alastair Farr completes the line up on guitar and backing vox. Known for his signature piece, the ‘mind-melting solo’, widely acclaimed by cats and dogs who are the only ones with the sonic range to hear it!
