Law Rocks! A charity battle of the bands between global law organisations!
Due to massive interest, Law Rocks! 2010 will be held over 2 rounds, round one on 29th April 2010, and round two on 24th June 2010 both at the 100 Club. Watch this space for details of who is playing and in which round!
The inaugural Law Rocks! event took place on Thursday 18th June, at the 100 Club (www.the100club.co.uk). Playing to a sell out crowd were bands from Keating Chambers, Addleshaw Goddard, Berwin Leighton Paisner, CMS Cameron McKenna, Lovells and Nabarro. The musical feast crossed many decades of rock, with some amazing performances and the odd awesome solo. Order was kept by Mr. Justice Coulson, who truly kept the proceedings rocking. Judged by a panel consisting of Catrin Griffiths (The Lawyer), Jake Leighton-Pope (Creative Artists), and David Steward (Ince and Co), CMS Cameron McKenna eventually emerged victorious after a play-off for the title against Nabarro. The Judges, and audience for that matter, were extremely complimentary of the quality of the bands performances.
This has since been called “the best legal night out ever…..”, so watch this space for more Law Rocks! events in 2010!!!
